Anglican Diocese Of Calgary Has Vast Borders.

This website provides easy, travel-free access to an impressive amount of information and news.
In it, the diocese publishes regional news and features in The Sower, as well as newsletters from both the Diocese of Calgary News Service and the Diocese of Calgary Refugee Support Committee.
You can also read pastoral letters, news items from around the world, and reports on the Vision Fundraising Campaign.
Links to individual churches provide photographs, schedules, and contact information, and there are prayer calendars and events calendars available online.
Activities presented on these calendars range from general-interest to special-interest ones, with events taking place at various churches.
Some of the regular gatherings include Eucharist with tea, as well as meetings of the Matrimonial Commission and a variety of Ultreya and Cursillo groups.
There are weekly get-togethers for silent prayer and meditation groups and the Calgary Downtown Chaplaincy (fellowship) group.
Lesbian and gay Anglicans and their friends can join Integrity, a support and social group that meets twice a month.
In addition to these regular offerings, the Diocese of Calgary sponsors special events, such as a summer Ecumenical Vacation Bible School that incorporates music, games, and crafts into the teaching of bible stories to children aged three to twelve.
Youths aged sixteen to twenty-one can participate in Teens Encounter Christ Ministries, a three-day-weekend event that takes place several times throughout the year.
For those planning to marry, there is a Calgary Deaneries Anglican Marriage Preparation course.
