The Calgary SPCA, Known As
The Calgary Humane Society,
Supplies Dozens Of Program!
The Calgary SPCA is the local equivalent of the,now 30 year old, and internationally renowned organization known as
PETA.
The more you look into the Calgary SPCA, the more you realize the enormous amount of work that is going on within this organization.
Of course they will take in all lost pets as well as pets that owners wish to surrender for legitimate reasons.
But they also supply Education Programs for Parents, Teachers and Children!
There are even summer camps, and a
Kids 4 Animals Magazine.
The Children’s Programs cover a wide range from Kindergarten up to and including Grade 12.
The SPCA covers Animal Behaviour Help, Pet Friendly Housing. Pet safekeeping, Pet Cremation and Memorial Services and the list goes on.
You absolutely have to check out their very extensive Animal Behaviour Resources,
where you’ll ,.find everything you need to know and a whole lot more about dogs and cats, and how to deal with them and how they interact with family members and strangers.
