The scope of Calgary continuing education is mind boggling to say the least.
The Univeristy Of Calgary alone provides about 42000 students with no less than 2400 courses in degree credit and non-credit offerings.
Many thousands of people find themselves taking part in the 1000 courses and seminars available through U of C alone to enrich their lives ,and inspire themselves.
Of course not everyone can come to the campus of a university to take advantage of Calgary continuing education, which is the reason you can now attend the
“Canadian Virtual University”
This is an institution that has been put together by a dozen respected Colleges and Universities that offer 300 complete degrees, diplomas or certificates, and 2,500 individual courses available completely on line or through distance education.
Now add to this eCampusAlberta which has no less than 15 partner institutes, who each have their own physical campus.
Of course there is Athabasca University which is another outstanding institution that provides distance education to students around the globe.
You can enroll year around to individualized courses that allow you to proceed at your own pace.
