Calgary Environmental Conditions
are such that you are bound to enjoy every visit, because Calgary environmental conditions give us more sunshine than any other place in Canada.
When you are flying in the to Calgary International Airport you will (weather permitting) get a spectacular view.

The thing that you'll notice right away is that the city stretches far
and wide from the downtown business center.
The Calgary environmental "foot print equals that of the City of New York, but Calgary
has 6 million citizens less, and that's why this is such a wonderful
place to live. There is lots of space to enjoy.
If you are driving in to Calgary, you will have a great view over large
sections of the city no matter from what direction you are coming.
That is because the center of Calgary was built in the Bow River valley.
Of course the enormous growth in recent years, which continues unabated today, is forcing the newer portions well over the banks of the Bow River.
Oh, by the way, at the end of 2008 you’ll get a view of the layout of
the brand new $1 billion project that’s now under way just
north of the airport.
It will consist of 2 fabulous horse racing tracks, a casino and
1 million + square feet of retail space.
This is the biggest project in Alberta outside the oil sands.
This project is proceeding and most of the retail space is completed. There was a considerable delay with the water rights, which has put the Racetracks about a year behind schedule, and the same applies to the casino. Stay tuned as progress is being made.
In the near future you’ll also see a brand new 59 stories
commercial building downtown, which will really dwarf the Calgary Tower.
Constuction on THE BOW , which will be the tallest building in Calgary, as well as the most expensive at $1 Billion,is proceeding on schedule and will encompass 2 city blocks upon completion.
All this development will have a further impact on the Calgary environmental conditions.
Managing the environment is everyone's business, and that includes you too.
