Calgary Night Clubs Reflect A Very
Vibrant And Multi-Cultural Society

Calgary night clubs are a perfect place for Calgarians and visitors to enjoy some great social get-togethers.

Just like any other city out there, Calgary, with a population of just over 1 million inhabitants,has a nightlife that mirrors the existing ethnicity.

It also makes you realize that the average age in Calgary is probably lower than in any other city of it's size.



It' not just Calgarians, but the Calgary night clubs,lounges and sport bars in the city draw from the many surrounding “bedroom communities” as well.

Believe me ...there's never a dull moment.

But as always I'll refer to a few that come to mind for no particular reason.

Let's start with HiFi Club Calgary

Among the Calgary night clubs the HiFi club is just one of the many attractions for those who come to live or stay in Calgary.

If you like to dance, this is the place for you.

They have certain nights of the week dedicated to one aspect of partying and just about everyone is destined to have the time of their lives on one night or another.

This club really caters to those who go out to party and stay hip, playing anywhere from electronica, hip hop, rock and roll, soul, house, funk, or anything else on any night of the week or even the weekend—Sunday included (that is Old Skool night).

Ilyxor Fusion and Dance

The Ilyxor is something relatively new to Calgary.

If you like to really party and have a great time with tons of other people, this is the spot for you.

Since the venue is a relatively new one, The Ilyxor is known for their dance floor—situated underground, making for a hot and heavy dancing and clubbing experience like nothing else you will ever experience in Calgary.



Melrose Café and Bar

Café by day, bar by night the Melrose Café and Bar is a great place to go for lunch or drinks, especially if you do not stay in Calgary permanently.

The menu is a great one and there is just about any drink that you could ask for at the bar.

It is a rather busy place, but the atmosphere is casual and relaxed and the music is low enough that you could actually hold a conversation with someone if you wanted to.

The Warehouse

The Warehouse is the upper portion and the Underground is (obviously) the lower portion, and depending on what you want to listen to you can take part in the festivities on either portion.

There is something for just about every taste, from hard rock and roll to indie music to hip hop, British pop and even nights where live bands play either or both levels.
