Calgary Spaceport Is One Of The Premier Sites
For School And Community Groups.

Calgary Spaceport is definitely one of the places you have got to see, whether you are relocating to or living in Calgary or you are just stopping in for a visit.

This applies to anyone who has even the slightest interest in science, space or aeronautics.

Located in the Calgary International Airport, this amazing place specializes in challenging your imagination, with displays and exhibits that demonstrate the principles and experiences of space.

There are even a few simulators to help you experience the real thing.

One of the most famous of the attractions is the wind tunnel, where you get the opportunity to climb behind a set of real airplane controls and sit in the pilot's seat of a Beaver plane, guiding the plane through one of the wind tunnels in the facility.

If history is more your cup of tea, there are plenty of things for you to see in that respect at the Calgary Spaceport as well.

You can see an actual rock off of the moon, the Mir Space Station instruction manual, and even get a taste (not literal, of course) of what real space food is like—you might never complain about your dinner again.

The best thing about it is that it doesn't cost a dime to get in.

That's right—everybody can get into the Calgary Spaceport and get access to all of the timeless artifacts on loan from NASA completely free of charge.

Outside of lunch money, what do you have to lose by stopping in with the kids and taking in everything that the Calgary Spaceport
