Of course there is residential and commercial Real Estate, but I will just deal with the residential aspect.
There are around 250 individual and distinctive
communities in Calgary and at least
10 Lake communities that are really worth checking out.
That’s a lot to sort out, and if you are like me, you will need a competent person to help you find your place to grow roots.
For better than 15 years I was a licensed Realtor in Calgary, and I have lived here a lot longer than that.
But even with that background I must tell you that in today's frantic market, I would not buy or sell any residential property without the assistance of a licensed Realtor.
These days there are too many things to look out for that can seriously affect the outcome of your transaction.
There are mortgage frauds and “grow-ups” to mention just a couple of problems.
Just do not let yourself be swept away by the pressures that are brought to bear by both buyers and sellers in this over heated market.
A competent Realtor will give you a valuable, knowledgeable and necessary second opinion.
