The East Village Is A Huge And Ongoing Project!
The East Village will take several years to complete, and it will be a sparkling jewel in Calgary’s landscape.
Already an enormous amount of work has been accomplished by CMLC,
The Municipal Land Corporation which was incorporated in the spring of 2007 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the City of Calgary.
CMLC's mandate is to implement and execute the Rivers District Community Revitalization Plan, a public infrastructure program approved by the City of Calgary and the Province of Alberta to kick-start Calgary's urban renewal.
The project: the Rivers District Revitalization Plan provides the city, the province, and the country with an excellent asset, and helps ensure that Calgary is among the best places in the world to live, work, and visit.
Anyone who is in the least bit interested in Calgary’s future will do well to read the Corporation’s Mission statement this by
