Everything you need to know about education in Calgary.

There is really no easy way to incorporate everything you need to know about education and all the facilities in Calgary on a single page.

But we have to start somewhere and I will give you some links that will lead you to the most important areas you may want to know about.

Obviously this page will be updated and revised whenever this appears necessary.

So here we go.

Elementary schools are covered on these pages:

Calgary Public School Board.

The Calgary Catholic School Board

The Calgary Academy

The Calgary Jewish Academy

Secondary institutions are referred to on these pages in no particular order:

Mount Royal College

Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT)

Calgary Colleges

Within the above pages you will find the most widely searched for institutions.

I know there are a variety of private and charter schools and I will mention a few to round out this page, knowing that I have not covered everything.

Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School
"Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School is Calgary’s leading independent day school for 660 girls and boys in Grades 1-12."

Delta West Academy
"DWA’s teachers believe that social and emotional security is the foundation of positive self-esteem allowing students to take the risks necessary to learn, grow and excel. Such a supportive environment is made possible by a 10:1 student to teacher ratio." K-12

Heritage Christian Academy
A comprehensive K to 12 Christian school, including Special Education, that focuses on commitment to Christ, academic excellence, moral character and service to other.

Glenmore Christian Academy
"Teachings from a Christian perspective...honouring to the Lord as well as preparing students academically. In September 1980, GCA began its operation with sixty students in grades 1 through 6."
