Calgary Festivals Cover A Very Wide Range Of Activities.

The festivals range from the very serious competitions in

Music and Art, to the lighter side of Stand-up Comedy

For example:

MUSIC:

The Kiwanis Music Festival dates in Calgary are from February 26 to March 19th 2007 and 3 sessions per day are free to the public.

All daily sessions and performances are held in the Jubilee Auditorium.

By all accounts, this years event was another enormous success.

ART:

Every one should have a look at the “ One Yellow Rabbit” repertoire which ranks with the best theater in all of Canada.

There really is no way to do justice to this here and I strongly recommend that you check their website.

COMEDY:

One of the funniest and most unpredictable is the COMEDYFEST Shown nightly April 28th to May 13th

Best of the Fest

8 PM in the Diamond Room

Best Western,

121 Edmonton Trail,SE Airdrie, Alberta

Of course there are other venues as well.

Because this is stand-up comedy it should probably be considered as adult festival.

Most festivals, such as the

DRAGONBOATS

of course are geared for the enjoyment of the entire family, and in 2007 this will be held on the north end of the Glenmore Reservoir from August 24th to the 26th where thousands of people will have a great time watching the races and the colorful regalia, as well as the food and beverages.

It is expected that at least 70 teams from across North America will participate again this year.

Then from August 7-12, 2007 the increasingly popular AFRIKADAY! will take Calgary in it's spell and enlighten and entertain and educate the thousands of people that take in the various venues around the city, and in particular the arts and crafts and foods in Princess Island Park.

The Calgary Winterfest is another great occasion for children and adults to have fun and get better acquainted with each other.

Come and take part in Calgary Winterfest Multicultural Celebrations on Sunday Feb 17-07 at

the Village Square Leisure Centre on 2623-56 street NE.

Or take in the Seniors Follies at Heritage Park Historical Village on 11900 Heritage Drive,SW.

This is always a sell-out event.

The educators of the school system are working with the students to provide special Snow Days events as well.

This is just a brief sample of the many activities and special celebrations that take place throughout the year and I'll bring you more information as time goes on.

Now for something entirely different and potentially very profitable,I invite you to read what follows very carefully.

Everyone knows that online shopping is accelerating at an enormous pace.

In the USA alone sales are expected to top $200 Billion in 2007!

Just about anyone you know is buying something on line these days.

Does it not make sense to buy on your own mall with millions of products in well over 1000 stores?

Of course it does!....and look at the benefits you get:

1) You get rebates on all your purchases.

2) You also help a child in need while shopping.

3) You'll never pay a cent....EVER

There is nothing to loose and rebates to be received on your own family purchases, while you are supporting a very worthwhile charity.

Be sure to check this out right away.

Get all the details by clicking the MALL below now.

Help make a child's life more tolerable today
