Fitness centers are in great demand by everyone.
Fortunately Calgary has some of the very best facilities to be found anywhere in North America.
Largely as a legacy of the 1988 Winter Olympics Calgary has:
1) Canada Olympic Park
Located in NW Calgary on the Trans Canada Highway on the way to Banff and Lake Louise.
2) The Olympic Oval
Located in NW Calgary on the University of Calgary grounds.
3) and a very popular fitness center is the
Talisman Centre
located very near the Stampede Park and in view of the now well known
Saddle Dome

The Calgary Flames
At these facilities, you are very likely to see Olympic caliber athletes as well as professional athletes putting themselves and the equipment to the test.
There are many other facilities scattered throughout Calgary that are equally well equipped and very suitable for the entire family.
The Family Leisure Centre
with the Wave Pool and waterslide, large track and much more, is just another example.
The
City of Calgary
has a host of facilities all around the city as well.
