Art is a very personal thing, and fortunately my girls provide me with an abundance of joy.

There is no greater personal enjoyment than watching the art work that my daughters are creating.

The beauty of building my own website is that I can take the liberty to add a page to the site, which will allow me to boast a little about the family.

Artistic talent is something personal that I do not possess myself, and my wonderful wife (deceased) had never been considered an artist either, although I may think differently about that than the rest of the world.

Actually she was an artist in the true sense of raising a busy family in a way that reflects the good personal values in life, and I loved her dearly for that and a whole lot more.

As for the actual artistic endeavors of my daughters let me introduce you to them one at the time, and in order of seniority rather than talent.

Darlene, who is very talented in many artistic areas is a very accomplished “word smith”, having created many wonderful poems over the years.

She has decided in recent years not to pursue sketching, watercolors, painting and poetry any further, and I personaly regret that.

Instead she has decided to concentrate her talents on Graphic Arts and Design.

Her style and work is exceptional and she has well over a thousand pieces completed to date.

All of her works are Watermarked and under Copyright protection of course.

Cathy is a visual artist who began her career around 30 years ago working with acrylics, but switched to Water Colours soon after she started.

Her works have been in galleries but in recent years she has been selling her work, mostly on demand.

Her beautiful paintings sell as soon as they are available and as a result her works are now spanning the globe.

She has been a long time resident in Banff, Alberta and as you can see from the pictures below, a lot of her work is inspired by the beauty of her surroundings.

There is still another daughter whose name is Liesbeth with a lot of talent and she is very gifted in the Arts and Crafts Area.

She is a very busy mother who with her husband Phil is raising 2 of our grandsons, but between the school and other activities, she always finds time to express her creative and artistic talents.

At this particular time she is busy with her Artistic Glassware, for which there is an excellent demand.

As soon as they become available to me, I will add her pictures here as well.
