Sport Facilities In Calgary Are A “Must-Visit” for All Visitors.

There are at least a dozen Sport Facilities in Calgary that can be considered World Class, because they were built to measure up to world standards.

Many of these facilities such as the Saddle Dome are capable of serving a variety of venues ranging from Professional Sports to National Conventions and from Trade Shows to Private Christmas Parties as well as world class Concerts and Exhibitions.

The majority however are built to serve specific sporting activities such as the Calgary Curling Club for example.

Others in the “single sport” variety are The Volley Dome and the Subway Soccer Centre

Both these facilities serve the respective sports throughout the year regarless of weather conditions.

Even the Calgary Canoe Club is now accepting bookings for weddings, parties, lunches, business meetings, and seminar and sporting groups in the Glenmore Clubhouse.

Another absolutely ‘must-visit” year around World Class Sport Facility and convention and exhibition center is Spruce Meadows where many thousands of visitors have seen some outstanding Equestrian Events and as well as very enjoyable international exhibitions.

Race City is Southern Alberta’s premier Motor Sport venue and has served its fans with excellent programs to deserve its great reputation as THE place to be for anything relating to motor sports.

Another multi-faceted facility, which is a legacy of the 1988 Winter Olympics is Canada Olympic Park which is now also the new home of Winsport and will be more prominent in Winter Sports than ever before.

While I know I am going to forget to mention some specific places, I’ll recommend you have a look at the Talisman Center which is in a class of it’s own when it comes to Health Centers and Gyms
