The Sport Facilities YOU Need May Require Some Searching.

Sport Facilities are so varied in nature that it was just impossible to do justice to this subject on a single page.

Not only that, but I know that some of you may want to know where to find some other Sport Facilities.

So with a little bit of luck this page will fill in some of what was not referred to on page 1.

For starters let me mention the city owned Aquatic and Leisure Centers.

Information regarding these can be found on the City Of Calgary Site and clicking on the A-Z Directory link in the colum on the right hand side of the page.

In addition to these there is the Trico Centre

formerly known as the Family Leisure Center in south Calgary, which has been completely renovated and updated.

Lesser known activities such as Dive Calgary who primarily use the Talisman Center (link: www.talismancentre.com )

There are of course numerous outdoor ball fields for field hockey, baseball and softball, as well as outdoor skating rinks, and it is not possible or necessary to list them all.

The Calgary Sports Car Club is one of the few motor sports clubs that owns it own clubhouse.

The Marg Petersen Memorial Hall, located at 4215 - 80th Avenue NE., Calgary, Alberta, Canada T3J 4B9.

The hall offers complete facilities for meetings, technical discussions, movies or a wide range of activities.(Photo courtesy CSCC)

It holds Rallies and Races throughout the year to the great delight of Calgary's Motor Sports Enthusiasts.

Then there is the National Sport School a site not to be missed by anyone having children in school. Check out the site to see tomorrow’s champions.

For that matter you want to be sure to bookmark the Calgary Sport Council's site to stay current about all the sport related happenings.

Of course where there are Sport Facilities, you’ll find sport related injuries and so you want to know where you can find the Sport Medicine Centre
